Health Checks Before Adoption
We ensure that all of our kittens receive:
- Routine veterinary health examinations.
- Age-appropriate vaccinations.
- Deworming treatments.
A licensed veterinarian thoroughly examines each kitten before leaving our care, ensuring they are in excellent health. A health certificate accompanies your pet as confirmation of their well-being.
72-Hour Initial Health Guarantee
We understand that bringing home a new kitten is an exciting step. To ensure a smooth transition, our health guarantee covers the first 72 hours after the kitten arrives at your home. It is important for the health guarantee to remain valid that you schedule a check-up with a licensed veterinarian within this time frame.
If the vet determines that the kitten has a pre-existing health condition, we will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include replacement or reimbursement, depending on the circumstances. This excludes minor conditions such as common parasite treatments or minor adjustments that are not life-threatening.
One-Year Genetic Health Guarantee
We proudly offer a one-year genetic health guarantee for inheritable conditions. This covers conditions related to the heart, kidneys, or other genetic factors that could impact the quality of your kitten’s life.
If a certified veterinarian determines that your kitten has a severe congenital issue within their first year of life, we will provide you with the option of a replacement kitten or another suitable resolution. Documentation from a licensed veterinarian will need to be provided for verification.
Care Requirements for Guarantee to Remain Valid
The health of your kitten depends on proper care, nutrition, and regular veterinary checkups. To honor the health guarantee, you agree to meet the following care requirements:
- Provide routine veterinary care, including vaccinations and preventative treatments.
- Only feed your kitten high-quality kitten or cat food appropriate for their age and health.
- Ensure they are kept in a clean, safe, and indoor environment, free from harm and stress.
Failure to meet these care requirements may void the guarantee. It’s important to us that your kitten receives the same love and care you expect from us as breeders.
Conditions Not Covered
While we strive to send home only the healthiest kittens, some conditions are not covered under our health guarantee. These include:
- Conditions arising due to neglect, mistreatment, or accidents after adoption.
- Feline illnesses caused by exposure to other unvaccinated cats or outdoor environments.
- Minor ailments that are treatable, such as fleas, coccidia, or worms.
Please note that certain environmental factors and lifestyle choices, such as allowing a kitten outdoors unattended, may present health risks not covered under this guarantee.
